Mirka Abrasives, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of KWH Mirka.
Mirka’s world-class products are manufactured in ultramodern production facilities by a professional workforce. Mirka's production facilities, the head office and department for research and development are located in Jeppo on the west coast of Finland. A part of the production, the warehouse for finished products and the shipping are located in Oravais, close to Jeppo, from where Mirka products are exported worldwide.
Mirka's marketing companies are located in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Mexico. Mirka also has a branch office in Singapore and a representative office in Shanghai, China.
The KWH Group is a family owned Finnish company that produces and markets plastics and abrasives on three continents and provide logistics services. The KWH Group consists of KWH Mirka; KWH Pipe, a manufacurer of plastic pipes; KWH Plast, a manufacturer of plastic foil; KWH Logistics, a specialist in cold storage and transports; and KWH Invest, a company that manufactures products to both the plumbing sector and the packaging sector.
KWH's mission is to develop knowledge-intensive, highly focused and service-oriented niche operations. The intention is to develop these operations based on traditional KWH sectors where the Group has a solid familiarity with the field, a solid strategic position and a strong sectoral presence.
